A coating on the optical module of EV SUN fittings that lowers the blue emission peak typical of LEDs. The light is easier on the eyes, and the fittings remain flicker-free with CRI >80 colour rendering.
The blue peak in ordinary LEDs
White LED light comes from a blue diode and a phosphor, so its spectrum has a distinct peak around 450 nm. Over many hours under artificial light, such a spectrum is less comfortable for the eyes than light with a smoother curve.
